More than just Nutrition
Nutrition is so important to living a healthy lifestyle, but there is more to consider than just food when considering your health! It is true that to see changes, food will make a larger impact than your workouts, but health is more than just your weight and body size, and wellness is more than just what you eat.
I love working with my clients on focusing on the different aspects of life that impact how you feel outside of what is on your plate. Sleep, movement, hydration, stress, your space and personal relationships can all impact your health and are crucial to evaluate. These can all be interconnected. This is not said to be overwhelming, but instead to be empowering! It is just as important to sleep well, or make time for social activities, as they can nourish you in a different way. Eating well won’t make you happy on its own, and these areas should be balanced within your lifestyle habits. It may be just as fulfilling to have a wine night out with friends, or make time in your busy day for a walk and we can’t overlook the pillars outside of nutrition that nourish us.
Together we can evaluate these areas and discuss small tweaks that will provide an energizing outcome over time! As you start to make changes in your health, it is important to remember there is more than what is just on the plate in front of you!
